Dear Elizabeth,
On December 23 the Moon will enter Cancer at 5:18pm and stay
there through daylight on Christmas day. The Full Moon occurs at
8:15pm on December 23 and is known as the Long Night's Moon. The
term Long Night's moon is appropriate because the midwinter night is
indeed long, and because the Moon is above the horizon for a long
time. The midwinter full Moon has a high trajectory across the sky
because it is opposite a low Sun.
Yule or the Winter Solstice also occurs at this time
(December 22) and is the beginning of the waxing time of the Solar
year. From this point, the light will grow stronger and our daylight
hours will grow longer.

Listening to the Full Moon 6th interval can be very
satisfying, as can be Mars/Full Moon during this time (read on
about Mars in Cancer happening right now.) Look for the Full
Moon to rise in the east around 8pm EST. (TIP: As the moon
wanes, it will rise later in the evening.)
Lunar power helps us to access our intuition by reaching
into our subconscious. She is the memory of nature and the
Akashic Records. By attuning with this memory we connect with
our natural rhythms and the ease of the flow of life. The moon
also rules all the fluids in the body. A full moon can bring
out the 'lunatics' in all of us as well as show us our true
emotions about a situation.
What are some ways to engage with the Full Moon? If
you've set intentions on the new Moon, the full Moon is the
time for releasing them out to spirit. In Acutonics, the
harmonic we choose (the forks we choose) represent our
intentions and are most powerful. During this time choose Full
Moon 6th and Full Moon/Mars to bring about focused, loving
action.

| Full Moon in Cancer |

Cancer is the fourth Sign of the Zodiac, and is ruled by
the Moon. This is that one time during the year when the Moon
is in it's home sign, making the force of love and trust so
abundant that the heart just naturally opens. During this Moon
we swim in the unbounded ocean of love that connects us with
the rhythm of life. With loving, intuitive Moon in Cancer and
Mars in Cancer (bringing compassionate action) we should all
be swept up in a pulsating desire for focused, loving action.
Mars is also in Cancer at this time and is also retrograde.
Moon and Mars in Cancer suppports recognition of our own
missteps and asks us to consider forgiveness and compassion to
heal wounds of the heart.
Cancer's greatest gift is the consideration of the needs of
others over our own needs. Though nothing is more important
than our families, we often get caught up in the day-to-day
hassles of family life. This is the Full Moon to stop and
really appreciate our loved ones: to fully embrace them, look
deeply into their eyes and let our hearts soar in the
recognition of oneness. It is also a great Full Moon to do
something wonderful for the primary caregiver in your family.
How about an Acutonics treatment to show them your love and
appreciation? What a wonderful way to spend family time during
this holiday season.

Cancer rules the fourth house of home and family so it is
no coincidence that we will all want to be in the comfort of
both during this Winter Solstice season. Sage your home with
the Vesta fork, Godess of Hearth and Home, build a fire, and
be ready to experience emotions and intuition second to none!!
Use Full Moon/Mars to keep emotions from getting stuck, and be
sure to listen to the Solar 7th to combat the holiday blues
that can sometimes set in.
To help balance emotions during this time, use Mar/Venus on
Ren 17. To help increase metabolism (needed for all the food
that seems to be around during this time) use Solar 7 on ST 36
and ST25, and on Du 4 & 6 too.

Welcome back again to "The Moon Series": Watch your
e-mail each month for newsletters around the New and Full moon
cycles. Each newsletter will discuss the current astrological
moon cycle and give therapeutic Acutonics applications.
While all moon transits are a very short 2.5 days, the New
Moon sets the stage for the entire moon cycle. The Full Moon
transit reflects the culmination and summit of energies that
have been growing since the new moon. Together, the New and
Full Moon transits outline the overall energies at work during
the month and give us guidance as to the best way to approach
our life and challenges. With our Acutonics tools we have a
powerful way to channel and amplify these natural cycles for
healing and health.
I hope you enjoy this new series and I invite you to share
this newsletter with your clients and colleagues.
Peace and Harmony and Best Wishes for a Wonderful
Holiday Season!

Moon Tips:The Full Moon is a good time to
start a weight reduction regime. As the moon wanes you will
release weight more easily. Use Solar 7th on ST36 to increase
