 "Sound Can Heal Us" 

That statement grabbed my attention six years ago as I wandered by a crowded tradeshow booth displaying brightly colored tuning forks. "Huh?" I uttered. ('Huh' is probably not one of the sounds that can heal us, but we're still learning.) Rather than responding verbally to my less than eloquent question, two gold colored turning forks were held up to my ears. The sound was stunning; vibrant, gentle, earthy, ALIVE.

I'm sure I did what I've now seen thousands of others do; I sighed "Oh!", closed my eyes, became completely still, effortlessly focused all my attention on the sound and silently wished it would never end. "Wow, what is it?" I asked. (I am developing a personal theory that these vibrations initially cause us to revert to a 2nd grade vocabulary, but that's for another time.) The sparkly women holding the forks smiled knowingly and played them again for my hungry ears. "This is 'Ohm'", she cooed. "All these forks are tuned to the 'Music of the Spheres'. This is Harmonic Medicine and its called Acutonics®. Do you want to hear more?" 'Yes, please", my 8 year old self begged. That 45- second experience was to be the start of my new career.

I am now an Acutonics® Practitioner and Teacher. My days are filled giving Acutonics® attunements in my home, but also traveling throughout the United States introducing and teaching this extraordinary healing modality.
